Last updated: February 2026
By using Latent Patterns you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. the service
Latent Patterns is an educational platform for learning AI concepts. It provides courses, written guides, and a glossary. Some content is free; the full library requires a paid subscription.
2. accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- One account per person. Do not share your login link with others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. subscriptions and payments
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe.
- Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include GST where applicable.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund if the service is significantly different from what was described or fails to meet consumer guarantees.
4. content and intellectual property
- All course content, videos, text, and code examples are copyright Latent Patterns.
- Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own learning.
- You may not redistribute, resell, share, publicly display, or create derivative works from the course content without written permission.
- Code snippets provided in lessons may be used in your own projects unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, redistribute, or publicly post course content
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or the paywall
- Interfere with the operation of the service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
6. consumer guarantees
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
7. limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latent Patterns is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The content is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from completing courses.
8. availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update content, or modify features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of material changes.
9. termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may terminate your access if you breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
- On termination, your right to access paid content ends immediately. Data deletion is handled per our privacy policy.
10. governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
