about

latent patterns

An educational platform for learning AI concepts. No fluff, no filler. Just the concepts you need, explained clearly.

Latent Patterns exists because AI shouldn't be gatekept behind academic jargon or hype-driven marketing. Every concept is broken down from first principles — transformers, attention, embeddings, and beyond — so you can build real understanding, not just surface-level familiarity.

who's behind this

Geoffrey Huntley is an AI and software engineering practitioner based on a goat farm in regional Australia. In a previous life he was a technology lead at Optiver and Canva. He's known for combining deep engineering rigor with chaotic creativity — building AI orchestrators, compilers written entirely by AI agents, and workshops on how to build coding agents.

Notable work includes Loom, an AI orchestrator and software factory, and the Ralph Wiggum Loop — a brute-force AI agent technique that turns simple prompts into fully functional software through automated iteration.
